Anna has been so helpful in my quest for nutritional balance. She takes time with her clients to really get to know them and their goals. I went to Anna seeking help with eating the right foods to power through my workouts in training for an Ironman. After 2 sessions I implemented what we discussed and I am very happy with the results. Anna really takes an individualized approach to each client. She also has a vested interest in her clients and it shows. I would recommend Anna to anyone!
Anna has been counseling me on nutrition at intervals over the last few months. And I am very happy with the enlightenment she has brought to me about the connection between my emotions and how I approach food. As we talked I remembered things about my childhood and on through to where I am today that had had a definite impact on my relationship with my food. I took Anna's suggestions on how to heal my more negative perceptions about my diet and began to see those perceptions change. Anna gave me very simple exercises with each counseling session based on what I knew about myself and what would work for me. And that's one of the best things about Anna's work. She strives to individualize her sessions with her clients so they can learn the most about themselves and apply that inner knowledge in the most effective way possible. I have learned so much about myself and my relationship with food, and now I feel more relaxed and joyful about eating, and, best of all, I no longer feel such guilt and repression on the fringes of every food choice I make! I had the pleasure of meeting with nutritionist, Anna twice so far and intend to meet with her again in the near future. I sought Anna’s expertise because I wanted to make changes to my diet hoping to avoid the need for medication for high cholesterol and for other health concerns. Anna is very knowledgeable and extremely pleasant. What I like most about her approach to nutrition is that it is holistic. She talked to me about the value of embracing a healthy lifestyle rather than focusing on dieting or depriving myself of certain foods. Anna really took the time to gather information that made our sessions feel tailored to meet my individual needs. I also loved that she was willing to meet me at the grocery store, where she provided truly hands on education regarding food labels and menu planning. Last fall, particularly, I did feel really out of control with my eating (particularly when it came to ice cream! yikes). So, I've been working at becoming more mindful about my eating. Anyway, I wanted to share with you that I did a little bit of work with a dietitian--Anna. She's a registered dietitian and a peaceful eating coach. Our meeting was interesting--we talked about my habits/life/etc. It was a good experience for me. I really liked Anna's approach--no shaming for starters! rather-helping me to get more comfortable with me while making small manageable changes in my diet (as opposed to big changes/choices that I end up disliking because they seem so restricting). I liked her a lot. Anna is very kind and a good listener. I think those are key things to be! She also has the credentials and that's important too.
